All 3 models are designed around composite technologies and depending on the production year, either come with Garmin or Avidyne Entegra digital flight displays. Across the board, there is no vacuum system and redundancy is provided by dual batteries and alternators. The SR22T is special in that it is turbocharged and allows the pilot to achieve an operating altitude of 25,000 ft while cruising at over 200kts TAS. All Cirrus Aircraft are equipped with the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) and in-case of any emergencies, it allows the entire airplane to descend safely to the ground.
